Door catch

The door catch is a fitting to keep a closed door at a normal position and not to naturally open due to a wind pressure. The catch body is fitted on the front of the top and bottom plates of a cabinet and the strike is fitted on the door side. A ball type, a roller type, a magnet type, a slide catch to slide and stop as at a window, and a door holder type to hold the door of a specially equipped vehicle or light van are available. Each type is capable of responding to a door deviation in swinging the catch body.

SLIDE CATCH
The slide catch is suitable for sliding doors including sash windows, especially for sash windows and small doors on ships and buses. A crescent sash lock and a sash fastener for windows require small space on construction machines and buses.

SLIT LOCK
The slit lock is a catch with a simple key to unlock a door with a coin or minus screwdriver. The door can be closed and locked by one touch of pushing it. It is suitable for the doors of the inspection holes for large-size equipment, power distribution boards and panel boards.

OPEN CATCH
The open catch has a spring function which closes a door when it is pushed and opens when it is pushed again. A magnet type and a non-magnet type are available.

MAGNET CATCH
The magnet catch is a fitting to hold a door with a magnet. A vertical type and a horizontal type are available for applications. A partial-rejection type consisting of a main body and a strike plate which are coated with resin is also available and suitable for clean rooms. Size and absorbing power variations are available.

BALL CATCH
The ball catch is a type using a ball in the catch mechanism. It is suitable for equipment which cannot be exposed to a magnetic field because no magnet is used.
